Premium Inclusions in Every Build

At Candor Homes we aim to hand over a finished home at the completion of your build. We don’t want you to worry about finishing off your flooring or getting quotes for window coverings. That’s why we include all the necessary features you need to be able to move straight into your home as soon as we hand over your keys.

Don’t get caught out with a builder that keeps adding on extra fees for necessary features that should be included as standard! Our standards include the ‘premium inclusions’ that many builders charge extra for. When you choose to build with Candor Homes you can rest assured that these will all be included as part of your base price:

Flooring

A fundamental part of a finished home is having your floors complete so you can move all your furniture straight in and start living your best life. While some builders will add floor furnishings as an additional extra on top of the base price, we include carpet and tiles as a minimum. You can choose from a selection of carpets for your media, activity and bedrooms and tiles or laminate flooring to living, dining, kitchen, bathrooms and laundry.

920mm wide front door

The standard width of a front door is 820mm, but we love the look of a wider front door. It adds a bit of wow factor to the entrance of your home as well as giving you extra space to maneuver inside. That’s why our standard front door size is 920mm and we give you a great selection of colours and styles to choose from.

BASIX and site costs

BASIX and site costs are included in the base price for your home. While those fees may vary according to the specifications of your design and land, they will be outlined in your tender and discussed with you prior to signing your contract.

Driveway

It seems unbelievable to us that a finished home does not include a driveway to the garage, however there are some builders out there who are adding it as an optional extra rather than a standard inclusion.

When you build a home with Candor, your driveway will be completed and painted ready for you to move in straight away.

See our home style guide or consult with one of our team members for the full range of colours available for your brushed concrete driveway and check out the options to upgrade to exposed aggregate.

Electrical and lighting

Ensuring your home has the right electrical package to meet your needs is super important, however it’s often overlooked by other home builders.

Candor Homes offer an electrical package that many other builders charge extra for. All rooms include downlights to provide sufficient lighting throughout the whole house, and enough power points to look after the whole family.

Downlights are an excellent choice for brightness, energy efficiency and a sleek, modern look that suits any home decor. There is always an option to add feature lighting if you wish to add an extra splash of personality to any of your room.

Air conditioning

We believe air conditioning is an essential requirement in our climate! Ensuring your family is comfortable all year round is a priority for us, and that’s why we include a ducted Fujitsu 3-zone system in all new Candor Homes. Talk with one of our team members to work out how this fits in with your floorplan.

Window coverings

Window coverings not only assist with privacy and light, they help give your home a finished look. While most builders don’t consider them an essential part of a completed build, we offer roller blinds as a standard feature.

You can choose to upgrade your window coverings to sheer curtains or shutters or any combination of the three options that works for you.

Tiled alfresco

We aim to build homes that celebrate family life, so having ample living space for the whole family is an important part of your home design. Candor Homes include alfresco spaces in all our floorplans, and they all come complete with a tiled floor. The extension of your living areas into the outdoors makes it easier for families to find space to spend time together and celebrate everyday.

Colorbond roof and guttering

A tiled roof is usually the default option for many new home builders, with Colorbond available as an optional extra. We’ve chosen to offer Colorbond roofing and guttering in our base price because it’s of it’s superior durability, longevity and energy efficiency. We have a large range of colours to choose from to suit your façade and exterior features. Our design consultant will be happy to work with you to find the right choice to suit your style.
