We were looking to build an acreage home. After a difficult and disappointing start with one of the larger project builders, we decided to work with a smaller builder because our past experiences had shown us that customer service and build quality are often better with builders who aren’t too big.
Candor Homes did not disappoint.
They worked with us to customise one of their floor plans and worked tirelessly to complete the build promptly. We were ecstatic to be in our home well before our neighbours, who had started building six months before us.
Ashleigh, Rachel and the team were always approachable and incredibly patient as we made countless changes to our colour selections. They listened to all of our concerns and questions and always responded thoughtfully.
Our site supervisor, Aaron, was amazing. He ensured every stage of the build was completed to a high standard and was always available whenever we had questions.
We also had a great experience with many of Candor’s trades. They were respectful, professional and attentive, particularly the electricians, who walked through the house with us to confirm the exact placement of every light and switch.
Was the experience perfect? No, but we don’t think you can build a house without a few hiccups along the way. There are simply too many moving parts. What stood out was Candor’s commitment to resolving any issues that arose. Even after handover, Aaron went above and beyond to ensure we were completely happy with the finished home.
We love our home and want to thank everyone at Candor Homes for their dedication to delivering such a high-quality result.
